Focus

An archetype is not a person.

Ask a language model what people think and it hands you the middle of the distribution. Push it for nuance and it invents somebody plausible. Both are archetypes, and neither is a person whose answer you can act on. Focus works the other way round: one real, interviewed individual at a time.

Each mark is one participant, and so is every cell beneath the curve.
